Lump
Darcy has a small less than pea sized lump on her neck/throat, It's not sore because she lets me touch it no probs, but im really worried, it doesn't look like it has a puncture hole that would maybe indicate a bite, has anyone got any ideas? Am I worrying needlessly or shall I take her straight the vets?

Re: Lump
sounds like a hive check all over her body i wouldn't be surprised if you find more in all the dogs iv owned memphis included they have all getting some size attack of hives when the weather changes and all the pollen in the air try a antihistamine so if that helps .
i really think you can put your mind at rest but keep an eye on it and if gets bigger by all means visit your vets

Keep an eye on it, give it a few days, if its still there then I'd go to the vets. In the mean time, as Warren suggested, give Darcy an antihistimine (I normally give Piriton).

Re: Lump
Keep an eye on it, Moo had a Benin tumor which are apparently pretty common in young dogs, looked like a scabby lump. If it gets worse vets but I sure all will be fine Xx

That's exactly what Zeus had a few months back; Hystiocytoma benign tumour. Because we left it so late, Zeus kept getting to it as it was on his paw and made it worse. He had to wear a cone for around 2 months which was the worst experience for both him and us. The vets kept suggesting surgery but I didn't want to on a delicate area such as his paw, eventually, it went away by itself with the use of antibiotics/steroids. As janey mentioned, I did read and the vet said they were very common in young dogs. It was just a hard lump which didn't cause Zeus any pain when I pressed it and it didn't have puss in it.
I've attached a picture below just so you know what to look out for:
