Bed Time.
Our puppy recently stopped Joe My husband and I in our tracks, (metaphorically speaking), it was becoming late in the evening, Bo-Jangles had been asleep with me holding and stroking him for quite some time.
He wanted to get down, so I put him on the floor. He tried several times to settle down again, but, that didn't work.
So he gets back up and goes into the kitchen so we thought.
We both went to check on him, and to our amazement he had only gone and put himself to bed which is in his pen in our other room, he was lying down watching us watch him. Joe put fresh water and food in to his pen.
We said good night to Bo-Jangles and we both went up stairs expecting him to whimper because he had not gone out side for his last little run around and toilet time, Joe even waited a short time before he got into bed, there was a sound from our special little boy and he slept through until his normal morning wake up time at 6.45am.
We thought it was just going to be that once he did that, we were wrong, he has put himself to bed two or three times since then.
Bo-Jangles is such a clever boy, he manages to show us something new and different and totally unexpected for a puppy who turned 12 weeks old yesterday, he is a star.
We love you Bo-Jangles.

Lovely to hear a proud dog owner
He is very clever and independant. My Logan has only recently been able to sleep by himself

Re: Bed Time.
That's amazing. It was only a few months ago Loki actually took himself off to bed of his own choice (especially when I'm in the room) . He must be a very comfortable, settled puppy

Well done Bo-Jangles, he sounds like he has got himself into this little routine of going to bed, nothing wrong that

Re: Bed Time.
Well done Bo-Jangles ( love the name btw ) Bacchus takes himself off to his crate for a sleep day or night. Mind you he sleeps there at night, always has done.
