I just found this link on the Wood Green Animal Charity website, at the bottom of the article there is a link to an official government E Petition:

Yes, there will, but puppy farms are altogether different. They can be stamped out as long as the government are prepared to tighten the laws on how many breeding bitches any establishment can own.

All they have to do is what they did in Wales - ban establishments having more than a certain amount of breeding bitches, and introduce laws to prevent them dealing in pups (buying in & selling on).

These places are easy to find & so they're easy to police, unlike the small scale bybs who operate out of family homes.

Completely agree, most big puppy factories are know about, there is just not the right laws to do anything about it.

Hate breeding farms they are disgusting the way they treat the animals and everytime people like RSPCA for example go to them their are loads of dogs that have ended up blind, major skin conditions etc so cruel so I'm off to sign

I signed it already, I think. Wales has the right idea IMO. Puppy farming is disgraceful.

The most awful places ever. I know a lady that has a female boxer that was seized from a puppy farm and she was so ill she had to have her eye removed, and walks with her head sideways because her cage was so small Sad

Unfortunately not. As long as they get the licence from the local authorities they can do virtually whatever they want. Sad

Fella, if you met the dog you'd feel even worse. She a total Princess, so unbelievably relaxed and well behaved. Walks with no lead whatsoever, 100% perfect.

She is so very sad/depressed though. Sad

Puppy farms are the most awful places in the world. How anyone even considers abusing an animal to make money is beyond me.
