Chiquito update

Just a quick little update on Chiquito.

As some of you may know Chiquito has had a few little health problems ... he has a rather sensitive tummy that has spent plenty of time being upset and he had to have surgery to remove some teeth that were causing a problem (our breeder made us aware of this issue and gave us the option of not taking him due to it, so we knew in advance this would need to be done). Combined, this has meant lot's of fiddling with diets, little weight gain in his first few weeks with us and at least 1 or 2 trips to the vet each week.

Yesterday we saw the dental vet and our vet for his check up and both are really happy. The dentist said that his gums have healed well and he is even getting a new adult tooth on one side, and the vet is happy that he has put on weight (8.7kg now!) and his tummy and skin have both settled well now - so ..... we don't have to go back for another visit for another 4 weeks!!

We celebrated with a bit of lazy sunshine play yesterday afternoon
