1 week anny
Ronnie has well and truley become one of the family in only 1 week..
Love him to bits and so does Barney,
Only problem we have is he has dicovered he can pick up the water bowl and empty it out... then when he bangs it down it makes a cool noise,
My kitchen floor is very clean, and a new ceramic bowl is gonna be brought tomorrow

Re: 1 week anny
Glad to hear he's settling in
I've seen a dog smash their ceramic bowl when trying to play with it when i worked in kennels, ended with blood and poorly paws! A raised dog feeder is another option?

Re: 1 week anny
Lily smashed 3 fancy dog bowls because she flings them when they are empty or she is still hungry > She has a metal food bowl now but it makes an awful clang when she chucks it

Re: 1 week anny
Happy to hear you have all settled in so well
Chiquito likes to do the same with his bowl ... so I got him a ceramic one thinking it would be too heavy which I ended up taking off him because he was lifting it up rolling it around as well Have found that a plastic water bowl with a wide rounded edge and non slip base has worked well .. has a lot more trouble picking it up and doesn't make the desired noise when it is clunked around

Once they find a 'fun' game, that's it, they repeat it for life it seems . Glad to hear he's settling in so well

Re: 1 week anny
The stainless steel bowls with a base wider than the rim are much more stable and difficult to pick up.
