Well its been 1 week since I cracked on with Alfies training. And what a difference in him!

In the space of this short time hes has had a crate (which he now gets in by himself and goes to sleep!), he has learnt to sit and now does this on command without any treats, he has had lots of runs around the park playing with sticks and has FINALLY started playing with his toys! Hooray! He will play fetch with me and also just play by himself.

I cant believe how much he has learned in 1 week, I am so proud of him. I am so much happier and so is he! and Erika is lol.

Happy family again Big Grin

That's great Ellie. I knew it would be really straightforward once you got stuck in, and there's nothing like the feeling when you know you've cracked it!

Crates and long leads, can't think of anything that has helped me more personally either Smile

So glad his training is going well Big Grin once you get through the first hurdle, it all gets a lot easier and you go from strength to strength.

Consistency and perseverance are the two key words really. Once you get into a routine with his training the rest will fall into place I'm sure. So glad that things are working out for you all.

Im glad. I knew he would come right, you have two breeds that are very smart and willing, they just need to be told the right way.

The biggest ally and tool in your box is your happiness and I know this from my own experiences. If you are happy then you are chilled and if you are chilled Alfie is chilled and Alfie becomes more and more receptive ----> you become more and more happy and it all goes round in a big circle of love Big Grin
