Whether you’re lathering on the sunscreen, pawing through puddles or nose-diving a little further under the duvet, welcome to the month of May from the family-friendly Staffy Bull Terrier Forum!

April was a massive milestone for us as we momentously reached the 10 000 members mark and we are already weaving towards 11 000. Whatever the weather, wherever you are, we extend a warm welcome to our new members from around the globe and hope that you find the forum informative and friendly.

The forum has undergone slight changes and you can now find all your favourites neatly packaged and easy to find. If you have recently signed up and haven’t yet posted, please do introduce yourself and your furry friends here https://staffy-bull-terrier.niceboard.com/f7-new-member-introductions. We are mad for photos on the forum and there are a number of galleries where you can boast and brag about your BFFs (Best Fury Friends) to your heart’s content. Nutrition is a hugely important part of our dogs’ life in order to function at their best and to live long and healthy lives. Our Diet & Nutrition section https://staffy-bull-terrier.niceboard.com/f29-staffordshire-bull-terrier-diet-nutrition has all the tips you could possibly need to make sure that your pals receive what they need to for their shiny coats; joints and overall well-being. We have amazing members who are highly experienced in various aspects of nutrition, from being able to advise on the best dry food to how to feed raw.

As a family-friendly forum we have a competent and welcoming team who are ready to support you and answer your questions. No hurdle is too high for us and we are always ready to have a chat, partake in polls and make new friends of all ages from around the world. We offer space to share and learn about anything dog-related, from puppy care to rescuing, training, behaviour and tried and tested products too and we welcome all breeds to our forum.

As the days start to warm up in parts of the world, please remember the importance of protecting your dogs from sunburn and making sure they are well hydrated – especially if you are increasing your walks. As more people take their dogs out for walks in warmer climes please make responsible and vigilant ownership top priority. If it’s cooling down where you are, make sure your dogs are kept warm and comfortable, especially if they suffer from sore joints.
