not drinking a lot of water
Billy does not drink a lot of water, even after coming back from a walk, he does not even drink a small bowl a day. is this something we should be concerned about, or is it something to do with the raw diet he is on.

I wouldn't know about the raw thing but Moo doesn't drink very much, generally after a long walk she gulps it down, or when she wakes but apart from that not a lot.

Logan very rarely empties his water bowl. I wouldnt worry. He's not daft and will drink when hes thirsty. Sometimes he gulps it down, other times hes hardly touched it!

Blue doesn't drink as much as my boxer or GSD's did.
Wouldn't worry about it, if he seems happy

Hollie goes through 2 - 3 bowls a day but she's on Wainwrights dried complete food and wainwrights biscuits/treats, so that's probably why (i hope)...

Re: not drinking a lot of water
Dempsey's on raw & he drinks loads, he always has.
Grab Billy's scruff & pull it up - when you let it go, does it stay puckered a little or does it go straight back as it was? If it goes straight back, then he isn't dehydrated so he must be drinking enough. If it stays puckered you might want to visit your vet & ask the veterinary nurse to have a quick look to see if they think he's dehydrated. If he's always been this way, though, I wouldn't think there's anything wrong.
I guess some dogs just drink more than others.

Re: not drinking a lot of water
Saxon doesn't really drink much water unless he's been exercising a lot and is really hot and panting.
