Puppy diet help wanted
Hey guys new here,
I recently bought a staffy which is 7 weeks old and i collect him this sunday when hes 8 weeks old,i bought my last staffy as an adult so i really need good advice for my new puppy,
I know if you want the best you have to spend that little bit more but i cant afford the best food but i can spend that bit extra and give him good quality food (dry food) and then when hes older i mite mix it with decent tin food just for extra flavour.
I want my dog to be fit and healthy but also look fit and health as a big strong staffy should look.
Any advice for good quality dry food that i can get in the uk,
And any advice or tips in general would be nice.
Il give my new dog the best life and love i can give him but i want good food aswel
Thanks

Welcome why don't you introduce yourself here?

Well, I feed Loki Wainwright's, he's been on it since the breeder put him onto dry food and I've fed him it since then. He loves it, aways eats it all and has never had any issues with it. Members here also feed Fish4Dogs, James Wellbeloved, Orijen, Arden Grange, etc. All great foods. Stay well away from Bakers, Wagg, etc., because they're all rubbish, it's like feeding a dog junk food everyday.

I feed James Wellbeloved to my fella and he does great on it.
It is hypoallergenic, grain free and also always on special deals at Pets at Home. I'd recommend that myself.

Can't add too much more, really.
I wouldn't add tinned food, though - you'll be better off adding a bit of sardine in oil or a raw egg!
