Explosions In Boston

Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon race have left an unknown number of people injured.

No matter how angry you are, or how big a point you want to make, there really is no need for sh1t like this

I think 3 have died 23 injured so so sad

we live in a very unsafe world you got crazy people and crazy counties

One of those that died is an 8 year old boy, how very sad for his family

One police man said he saw over 20 people with missing legs etc too.

Will the London marathon go ahead on Sunday ?

I think they've said it's going ahead but they're reviewing the security measures.

Never safe anywhere now. It is an appalling world we live in, with such barbaric people. Just awful!

I genuinely believe it'll turn out to have been just some head case. I don't think it was anything to do with the marathon in general, just chose that because it would effect a lot of people.

The London marathon is going ahead but security is increasing. Radio 1 were talking to some of the runners earlier I think.

I read that some of the runners that had crossed the finish line ran onto the hospital to donate blood or something. I don't know if that's true or not, but if it is, it's amazing and one of those things that restores your faith in humanity a bit after being reminded how horrible people can be.

I know one place I won't be anywhere near on Sunday!

It's just so awful, the poor families. The mentality of some people horrifies me. RIP those who died.

Apparently the little 8 year old boy who died sister lost her leg and the Mum is in hospital too. They were only going to watch their Daddy run.

It's a total disgrace.

I'd be more worried about something going off at Margaret Thatcher's funeral than the London Marathon tbh.

Do they expect much trouble tomorrow other than protests, do you think?

People are afraid that explosions will go off at the London Marathon but if anything, Thatcher's funeral will have a serious amount of people at and around it.

It says a lot when at every event where there's going to be a crowd of people, there's a possibility of this happening.
