Another harness bites the dust - part 2! Empty Another harness bites the dust - part 2!

Following on from an earlier thread I bought another new harness for Densil. I wanted to get the tellington touch which has a front ring but they didn't have his size in stock, so I got the xtradog fleecy harness which is similar. When it first arrived I was really impressed. It is quite sturdy and has a fleecy lining to stop shafing. However, found out when I got back from first walk that the part that goes around his chest and behind his legs - the fleece lining is not attached to the webbing and it is getting twisted and working itself inside out. The part that goes around the neck is fine because the fleece and webbing are sewn together. But the straps that go under his chest and clip onto the top of the harness - the fleece is just threaded through a couple of straps on the webbing. Have tried tightening the harness up as much as I can, but it makes no difference. So disappointed and not sure whether to just take the fleece off altogether or try and sew it onto the webbing. Will try and post of picture of it later.

I'd take it back & get your money back as it isn't 'fit for purpose'.

Where did you get it?

Agree totally with Caryll, please see if you can return it, if you bought it on line you can return it under the distance selling laws anyway. If you got it from a shop take it back, it's not fit for purpose.

I got it from xtra dog. Will contact them to see what they say. Have now taken some pictures of it. The webbing and the fleecing which goes around his body just gets totally twisted - really disappointed with it.
