Soooo... is it normal for a staffy to lay like a frog? Or any dog for that matter?

Kind of freaked out when I saw this but she seemed totally at ease and not in pain.

She can also sit sideways, see 2nd pic.

Another time, she fully sat on her bum like a human (3rd pic). Hahaha

BEST PIC OF ALL... I came out to check on her and saw her sitting on a kiddy chair, watching the fence. LOL!!!
AND seated sideways like a human. =p

Haha! Bartholomew does all of the above poses and is completely comfortable with it. He will often fall asleep under my bed with his "frog legs" sticking out.

It's very common in bully breeds. Smile It's because of the way they're built - big muscles bulging out everywhere! Laughing

Great photos, especially the last one.

Mia does both those things too. It didn't half freak us out the first time we saw the frog position, we thought she'd dislocated both her back legs!

Totally normal, Pixee does all, there was one time last year, when we went up blackpool for the weekend, and we caught the tram back to hotel, Pixee sat on her bum with all to see, which had everyone cracking up with laughter on the tram Laughing

If I could figure out how to post a video I would - my dogs both lay like that all the time (looks so comfy!) But Ashton, also 'laughs' (!) He lies like that, and then rocks his body side to side opening and closing his mouth in a big grin - looks mad!
