Small bump on her head
Maxi has a small bump on her head. It's the size of a pimple but it is not red or anything but her fur has fallen off on that spot. She does not seem bothered when I touch it so it does not seem sore and I have not seen her try to scratch it so I don't think it is itchy either. She has had it for 3-4 weeks now and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of what this is?

Don't know what it could be, but Loki's got a similar thing, a little bump on his head where the fur isn't as thick, you can see the skin a bit. He's had it for ages though, I've always assumed it was a bit of a scar or something.

Can you get a photo of it ? This may help us to ID it.

Could be a small wart - staffs are known to get them. Next time you're at the vets ask them to check it if you're worried.

She's had it for about a month and it hasnt changed that's why i didnt think it could be an insect bite, or could it still?

Re: Small bump on her head
I wouldn't think an insect bite - it would at least have been red/itchy if it was, and it would've gone by now.
I stick by a wart. If it is, and it isn't bothering her, I wouldn't worry about it!

Floyd had a wart like this for about 6 weeks. Vet checked it out, called it a scabby wart and reckoned it would fall off...which it did about 3 days later

Re: Small bump on her head
Does dog warts look similar to human warts? Because this looks nothing like a human wart, the skin is just normal and smooth, it's just like there is a hard bump under the skin?
