Eyelid bump

Hi guys, hope you’re all well.

Bear is our 10 1/2 week old Staffy puppy who we love very much. He’s really settled in with us and is keeping us entertained.
Last week we noticed a little white bump appearing on the top of his right eyelid. My wife thought he may have been stung when she took him out to toilet but cannot guarantee it for sure. Has anyone else experienced these bumps? He occasionally paws at it but I wouldn’t say it’s annoying him as yet.
My main concern is it growing bigger and then requiring removal. Any advice/experiences would be greatly received. Thank you

They often get these 'bumps'. I think they're a kind of 'stye' like humans get & may go away on its own.

Next time you're at the vets (second vaccinations?) just mention it. I daresay they'll just ask you to keep an eye on it (pun intended!).

Just make sure it isn't getting too big or rubbing against the eye.

Hi guys, the bump is slowly getting smaller as he is getting bigger. The vets were happy with it and have just told me to keep an eye on it.

Thanks mate. It’s been a relief to get some professional opinion. It’s our first dog so we were getting ourselves a bit worked up by it.
