Hello,my 9mth old staff keeps getting a bloodshot eye after a walk. he pulls a lot. i have just brought him an ezydog harness as hes pets at home one was getting to small and was making him bald where it rubbed. well i read on here that a lot of people had the ezydog so i got him one, it fits him nice but when he pulls he seems to choke himself a lot more. he used to get bloodshot with hes old harness but not this much. is this something to worry about. he does have an eye appt in two weeks as he has a non formed tear duct and needs an op. has anyone elses dog had this?

Sorry I haven't come across this before personally, hopefully the op will solve the problem.

I'm not sure. It sounds like it could be related to the tear duct - if it hasn't formed properly, the eye may not be able to flush itself out properly, which could make it dry and bloodshot. I daresay the op will help. You should mention it to your vet. Smile

I may still be that. I think only a vet could advise you on it. What ever happens, I hope you'll let us know! Smile

Can't really say whether the blood shot is a result in pulling but Daisy has had eye problems, our vets advised to bathe with tea/tea bags as it's soothing, not an answer for you I'm afraid by may help?
