Re: Eyes
It could be a touch on conjuntivitis. If it is, then a vet visit would be in order.
Before that, though, you could try placing a damp, used teabag (cooled of course!) on her eye for a minute or so, twice a day for a couple of days to see if it helps.

Re: Eyes
She is booked in for the vets :-) just wondered what it might be I've read it could be glaucoma, stress, pulling on the lead,

Re: Eyes
Glaucoma won't normally make her eyes red as far as I'm aware.
Yes, it could be stress, or dry eyes. But it could also be conjunctivitis, which can be easily treated with drops.
The teabags will tell you whether it's just irritation, though.

Re: Eyes
Tea has very soothing & refreshing qualities - for humans as well! You can do the same for your own eyes & it'll brighten the whites and reduce dark circles.

Re: Eyes
I've used tea bags or cotton wool soaked in some cooled tea on Daisy's eyes when they've been sore too, it works well

Re: Eyes
That's ok. Hold them on for a few seconds if you can, but otherwise frequent wipes all around the eye area.

Re: Eyes
I would also use seperate ones for each eye so if there's any infection you don't spread it

Re: Eyes
As said above, it could be Conjunctivitis, Zeus had this when he had to wear a cone for a month. He wouldn't let us put drops in (went absolutely mental when we went near him with them), so the vet gave us antibiotics which worked a treat.
