Randomly started pooing inside??????

Hi all, Our 13 month old staffy bitch has just started pooing inside over the last 3 days. She is about half way through her second heat at the moment, could this have anything to do with it?? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

how many time a day do you walk him and how long for?

How was she before this started, did she have many mistakes? Has anything changed in her routine?

Usually she would have 2-3 hours walk most days but only about an hour a day walk on lead since she has been on heat. This is the first time she has pooed inside since she was about 4months old.

It could be connected with her season or a change in her routine and amount of exercise. Here is a link for some indoor activities to see if that might help.

Unusual to start again after being so good, have you changed her brand of food or anything?

Sometimes they can just pick up a bug of be sensitive to a food stuff or something they have eaten.

She has been eating a different brand of dog food, we gradually introduced it about a month ago. Could it be causing problems now? Thanks for the link, I will check it out.

After a month or so I wouldn't think the new food is a likely source of the problem

No after a month it should have shown signs earlier I'd have thought too. Yet it still may not be agreeing with her I guess.

Change of routine also can upset them, so posibly for the reason she hasn't be able to get as much exercise has added to it too. Indoor games work really well. Still worth taking her out when possible, even just round the block etc.
