Raw feeding
I started feeding Mia a raw diet about 6 weeks ago after doing lots of research. She started off fine on the diet but now she just sniffs and walks away. So i started to boil it in gravy and a few veggies and she loves it. I was wondering do you still give the same amount cooked as you would raw? Things like chicken and duck carcasses she will eat raw still but obviously i dont mix raw and cooked together. Also marrow and beef bones she loves. Is it ok to feed raw in the morning and cooked in the eve?

Re: Raw feeding
with a cooked diet ALOT more research is needed to be done, as so many nutrients are lost in the cooking process and you do need to supplement with it.

Re: Raw feeding
As Ella says, you'll need to make sure that all the nutrients you lose in cooking are made up in supplements of one sort or another.
To be honest, I'd either raw feed (which is what I used to do) or give a good quality dry complete - that way you know your dog's getting everything it needs.
