Puppy food
It's a minefield!! Lol! Leia's breeder had her on pedigree puppy wet and dry and I've been be-grudgingly giving her it....but even at the tender age of 12 weeks she seems to be going off it (yay) haha....been lookin online and am finding it really difficult to decide which food to put her on....Doesn't matter the cost and obviously I just want her eating the best there is wet or dry it doesn't matter either any advice or info would be very much appreciated xx

Re: Puppy food
For dry food i recommend Eden, £50 for a 15kg bag, one of the best kibbles out! If you want the best food there is I'd recommend looking up the raw diet, my 2 are raw fed!

Re: Puppy food
I feed James Wellbeloved which has done great for Logan, he is a very picky eater but has thrived on it. It's hypoallergenic, grain free and well priced. There's always really good deals on it at Pets @ Home.

Re: Puppy food
Over here in Australia I'm feeding my 12 week old girl Royal Canin puppy. It's the good stuff with the price to match but she doesn't seem to get stuck into it

Re: Puppy food
I fed a few kimbles but nothing has beaten feeding a raw diet. You can see the difference in just a few days. But if you don't fancy feeding raw there are plenty of good quality of dry foods on the market.

Read up on the raw diet, but if you feel yourself getting confused, stop and give yourself a break! It's so easy to over think it to begin with.

Re: Puppy food
Both of mine had Wainwrights puppy from PAH and did really well It is a minefield , but generally if you have no big diet problems all of the mid to high end foods are generally pretty good

Thank you and I will, is there any good books on it or is the Internet the best place to research it more?

Re: Puppy food
There are a few books, I never bothered with them though! Dr Tom Lonsdale's books are meant to be good. Really though everything you need to know can be found on this forum! There are a few raw feeders on here.

www.whichdogfoodguide.co.uk
is a good website that compares just about every food there is. Eden scores 5/5 but I haven't used it myself. I went for Millies Wolfheart which scored a very close 4.8/5 and is roughly the same price
