Chicken heart and liver
I bought some chicken heart and liver today to add in to Brutus's diet. Whilst not large, I figured they would slow down his eating and that they could also be used as treats for training. Well how wrong could I be. He looked at me as if to say "what's this?" And has refused to eat them.
Has anyone else had the same response?

Cheers Dave. I'd say he is just being a picky little sod. Will persist with it.

Hi Ella,
Yeah I tried them fresh out the freezer, defrosted and with some sardine oil on them. He still turned his nose up at me. Aside from flash frying them in the fry pan I'm at a bit of a loss. He didn't have them on their own either. He had them with cow tongue, beef mince and lamb kidney.

Re: Chicken heart and liver
I would try flash frying them to release the smell and if he eats them, then you fry a little less each time until they eat it raw, works for a lot of dogs

Re: Chicken heart and liver
Mine loves chicken hearts raw but won't touch raw liver.
I frieze dry it instead and use as treats which he goes berserk for.
