Welcome to April everyone and a very warm welcome to our family friendly forum if you are only just joining us for the 1st time,
feel free to introduce yourself here and you are sure to receive a very warm welcome. Be assured that the wealth of knowledge and support available to us all on our forum allows even relatively new owners to soon become confident owners with plenty of friends to help and support when things feel at their darkest. We are here to support and to advise not to judge on Spelling and Grammar so please don’t be shy and allow spelling to stop you from getting the help you and your pet deserve.
Our forum not only supports Staffordshire bull terrier and all Bull breeds but also has space to chat about your other pets too here.
With over 9000 members worldwide we are sure to have a member or two who can advise and share stories on the most exotic pets available out there, and someone may even be able to advise you on how to deal with pests like snakes/spiders and the likes in your country or maybe it’s you who can advise others.
As we are a forum with plenty of moderation/supervision you can meet the staff here, we can all be safe in the knowledge that children of all ages are welcome to chat about lots of subjects from school work to other pets, remember children should always be supervised whilst using the internet as we can only do our bit of protection on the forum.
Well as we said welcome to April and doesn’t time fly? Not long ago we were playing with our furbabies in the snow.
We are at that time of year now and things are warming up and jobs are to be done in the garden, most importantly checking your garden is secure for your dogs, please be aware of places not easily accessed by us humans such as behind sheds/greenhouses, our dogs can and will find a way out through weak spots in our fencing it’s in their nature.
Please remember whilst getting the garden ready various products are poisonous to dogs, such as weed killers, slug pellets, Rat and Mice baits, some detergents/disinfectants, paint/creosote and also some common garden plants and much more so please use caution and common sense.
It’s also the time of year for those lucky people among us who own caravans/mobile homes to be visiting their holiday sites more, and time for the campers to start getting our equipment aired/cleaned and ready for the off, please don’t forget to post in the dog friendly camp site thread your recommended sites for the rest of us, along with very welcome hints and tips on improving our holidaying experience with our pet’s are always welcome.

We are always excited to see your photographs of your dogs enjoying themselves at home or on their Holiday’s so why not enter them in one of the monthly Competition’s here that are just for fun and let’s take the opportunity to show off our pets and receive lots of loving comments and compliments.

Now it is starting to get warmer/lighter days and more people are starting to take their dogs for walks, as responsible owners of Stafford’s and other bull breeds we Strongly recommend that we all keep our dogs on leads and under close Control at all times, also remember there are no excuses for not clearing up after you have emptied your dog, as a breed Stafford’s and most bully’s have the unfounded reputation of being aggressive and are quickly vilified in confrontations and we are often blamed for Situations that could have been avoided if the other parties dogs were kept under closer control.
As you know, membership to the forum is free and all contributions from Members to Administrators alike are unpaid and given for the love of dogs and our Bull breeds in particular, but there are costs entailed in the hosting of the site etc, so although not compulsory in any way, donations (however small – every penny helps) are welcomed and acknowledged with a note by your log-in name.
