Re: an very sad story
That is terrible, I had an auntie who had MS and lived with it for about 25 years. It is a debilitating disease and it was sad to watch her go so slowly down hill from suffering with it. Sadly my aunty died 2 years ago and I miss her terribly. Her husband stayed with her though through it all and she always had the full support of all her family. I cannot imaging going through something like that on your own, there are support groups out there though:

Re: an very sad story
Terrible story - first the guy finds out he has a serious condition, and the next minute his supposed life partner walks away and takes his children with her. I am absolutely speechless with astonishment (and yes, disgust).
Thank heavens he's got a friend he can count on - I know you'll give him all the help and support you possibly can.

What an awful thing to happen. Partners should stick by each other, not run out at the first hurdle!
