When puppies are hungry

Vinny would be a right guzzle guts given half the chance. I just have to crumple a packet and he comes flying in. Tonight he:

Sat guard at the oven while dinner was cooking
Kissed the cupboard where is biscuits are
almost climbs into the freezer when opened.

So what funny things do your pups do to get your attention for food?

Logan is the complete opposite, unless it's sardines/mackerel he doesn't even want it really and just chills out in on the couch when it is getting made. He's unbelievably picky though.

Loki's not too bad, you know. He'll pace the floor in the kitchen when someone's eating a snack or there's food about, and in the living room he'll wander over to you if you're eating, but generally he settles down. Zac, on the other hand, would have his face on you ready to lick the floor if anything dropped

The sound of any food package sends Lyra flying in your direction lol she is very food led. She likes to sit on the floor when we are having dinner with big eyes hoping you'll take pity on her (which I never do ) or creeping across the sofa when we have custard creams, which are turning into a fav of hers lol

Aren't they funny! Roxy isn't too bad. She will sit and watch what's happening but knows not everything is for her. In saying that, she will lay her head on my knee when I'm eating but she gives up quickly.

Mat, when I make them sardine cake I feel like a fishy dealer the way they bounce around my legs ready for a "hit!"

Logan is the first dog I ever fed fish and I couldn't believe how much he loved them!

rustling a packet does get Lola's attention, but if anyone is cooking she will hover nearby just in case anything hits the floor, or "accidentally" finds its way down there (my mum). if i'm near the kitchen i get her to sit and wait by the door, and she's usually pretty good, unless its cheese. that is her magnet and very occasional treat

Tommy is the greedy little eat anything terror , rustle a piece of paper or plastic and he assumes that is the food sign

Cheese is definitely an attraction in this house!

buck loses his mind over custard creams lol
i regret ever giving him a piece because now hes addicted and tries his best to get as near to me as possible when im eating them

Holly is very greedy ...she can be in the deepest sleep , but if she hears to cupboard or fridge door open , she will suddenly come running in

Would much rather that than a fussy eater.

tyke not so much a puppy any more..............but i am forever falling over him in the kitchen!!! soon as foods been cooked that's him glued to me!!

I usually have a staffy audience when I'm cooking.

They know when I'm chopping carrots, they sit there waiting for the ends of the carrot lol

Other than that - they will sit nearby when we are eating but they don't pester us.

I wish mine went mad for veg!

Suki stays in the kitchen when one of us is cooking and is right there tyring to get her head into the fridge every time it's opened.

As soon as Zeke hears a rustle of a bag hes there in a dash and when Im eating hes practically in my face. I dont know why as he has never had one bit of human food. Greedy git hahaha

A crumpling packet it just too much temptation, Rocky can hear one from about a mile away I'm sure. He will sit and dribble if you have something particularly tasty that he would like to try too.

Custard creams make her go crazy, she's always under my feet in the kitchen. When i feed my guinea pig she will stop playing with oh to come & get a piece of apple & cucumber

i usually pack marley away when we eat. but for some reasion, whenever i crack a soda and she hears that "psss" she is all in your face as you drink it lol. must be the noise, she has never had soda before.

Loving everyones stories, gotta love our staffies, Marley is pretty good if your sat on the sofa eating he will either sit right in front of you gazing into your eyes (swear its some wierd mind trick he is trying??) or if there is room next to you he will jump up and happen to want to lay on your lap!! But he is my personal hoover in the kitchen when im cooking!! And his also learnt that Kallie (our 2yr old toddler) will feed him her toast through the gate of a morning x
