Gooey Eyes :/
Hi Guys,
I have just started to notice that Zeke gets really gooey eyes and at one point I thought it was conjunctivitis. Some times his eyes can be fine and sometimes there gooey. When he just wakes up they are pretty gooey! I know it could just be from sleepy eyes but I Just wanted to see if this was normal.
Thank youu!

Re: Gooey Eyes :/
Lately Logan's have been the same. I can't help but think the rubbish weather has something to do with it, plus central heating. They aren't causing any discomfort though so I'm just gonna keep a watch on it

I do clean his eyes with a bit of damp cotton wool. They dont seem to be annoying him. Ill keep watching them though. Properly is because of this horrible weather!

That's all I'm doing too. I read that as long as you keep them clean it'll cut down on the chances of it becoming a problem.

As long as the whites aren't bloodshot and he isn't scratching at his eyes I wouldn't worry too much.
You could always try holding a cooled, damp tea bag over his eyes for a minute or so - it soothes!

Bless, when Moo had gooey eyes I used a very weak solution of salt water and just wiped them over and never flared up

Bacchus has had this for a week or so too.
So a cold tea bag works?? My OH is a big believer in this and I've always poo pooed it. She's not getting to read this or she'll realise I don't know everything.
