More agility
Been back again with Ledger tonight to try being in the arena with other dogs around, he does get stressed initially and chewed trough an old lead (he had made a good start when we tried flyball) but he calmed down and was better off lead with me keeping his focus with treats
apart from not liking the tunnel (except for hiding in with his toy) he was really good and when one collie was running round away from her owner he reacted to the recall and went and sat for a treat

Re: More agility
Went to the Wednesday group too to see how it fared. It was much more manic with a labradoodle and a jr x tearing about and Ledger gave chase there was no aggression from any of the dogs and good to see him have a good run out but it wasn't really what we were meant to be doing even if they were clearing the jumps
He went back on lead for a bit til everyone had calmed down and by the end was getting the hang of the tunnel and doing a circuit with a couple of jumps
Definitely a work in progress, gutted I'm working next week but might see if I can make the Wednesday class before heading in for the night shift

Re: More agility
Much better last night a different set up with only one dog in the arena at a time while the others socialise and work on wait and move on specific word. The couple of runs we got in Ledger did great and went through the tunnel for the first time without me having to sit him at one end and call him through.
Tuggy wise he still is just interested in an old nylon lead which he is chewing into pieces as the classes go on but he is loving it though and good to see him progressing so early on

Re: More agility
Well all is going really well, Ledger has settled down with the indoor and outdoor arenas and its quite good that there are different dogs every week so he is getting really well socialised.
Tonight he was running 3 jumps - tunnel - jump and also figure eights back and forth over two jumps. He has also got the grasp of the A frame after last night jumping it clear from about half way up and is calmer on the walk over frame after leaping off it and onto my back
he is showing no interest in the tuggy toys and in comfort has chewed through two leads since we started so between runs he is on a chain but testing his focus off lead and with some baked liver in hand his full focus in on me
