Good training session

Well we've just got back from our third training class and I'm feeling pretty proud so thought I'd post and share Smile

Earlier today was practicing and it wasnt going particularly well so I wasn't expecting much tonight with all the distractions in class but daisy was brilliant, so good and I'm so proud. she's really coming on with what we've been learning. She was walking round the room perfectly doing her sit, heel. She even came to me at the other end if the room with all the other dogs positioned as distraction!!

We started stay tonight and that didnt go so well, the man that runs the class said it looked like it upset her, Sad

possibly from her previous home as she's a rescue. but he did say she was doing great and seemed to be enjoying the rest of it!

All in all a good night, yay

Stay took a while for Logan too. It's such a handy thing for them to know though when they crack it.

Yeah it will be a good tool!! Sure she will pick it up, think it was this time last week I was saying she was struggling with down!!

what is it your training for? anything particular like events and shows or is it general dog obedience and what not?

That's great news! Are you thinking about doing any other kind of training with her like agility? My girl LOVES her hurdles and poles in the garden, you should try it as she seems to love learning! Big Grin

This is just basic obedience but I would love to do some agility, daisy loves jumping and climbing stuff so think she would enjoy it!! Early days yet tho!!

Ohh I see! Well I'm glad she's being a star! You should deffo think about agility though, I've never seen Ebony happier than when she finally got the hang of jumping over the hurdles! Big Grin

Good luck at teaching her to stay though, I'm sure she'll get the hang of it soon bless Love Struck

Also I have just put a chocolate button (dog chocolate) in front of her, told her to leave and she did until I told her she could have it Smile

Would have started sooner if she hadn't been poorly but not sure I could have taken a bald dog to training classes!! Can you imagine the looks I'd of had?!

She doesn't usually make a noise but if she did it's more like a grumble! She makes all sorts of strange noises!!
