Sniffing while walking

Hi all.

I wanted to know if this is normal, Whenever I take Lola for a walk on lead she just constantly sniffs the floor. She never raises her head at all, is this normal?

if its abnormal woody is too! although he now does it with his mouth open scooping up anything he can find at the same time!

Yep same here. Her fav is chewing gum, and it's such a swine to get out of her mouth :-(

Molly does it too, she's like a blood hound when she gets the scent of something.

she also likes to scoop things up, i found the best thing is to give her a smallish stick for her to carry, then she just walks, and you can then throw it for them at the park

We can't do this... Molly just rips the stick up

doh lol yeah we sometimes go through a few sticks, they get smaller and smaller as we walk mind

woody finds them as we walk but if its one he's had before he wont pick it up and carries on until he finds a new one - bizarre!!

Think yourself lucky you don't have an entire, dominant male!

Taz always used to do this so i gave a few corrections so he would concentrate on the walk not everything on the floor.

My Lola does this too, she's a bugger!
