The only thing I could suggest is increasing their exercise or add mental exercise such as hide and seek to lower their energy levels.

hi, we have a 3 years old and when he was born tyke was 5 month old we had him since a pup, so he was pretty giddy at that age. firstly i would advice to get them interacting around small children is poss, we were lucky as my niece was a a year old at the time so i use to have her over etc i would advice same as matt, may be increase there exercise but for when baby is born in hospital buy a piece of muslim or soft cloth to put with baby and then take it home to the dog and let them smell this etc, when baby arrives home do not leave them out good walk on the day baby is home so they relaxed, and just introduce slowley. We use to let tyke be with us when bathing, feeding etc so he wouldnt get jealous.

they are both thick as thieves now!

but i would highly recommend the interacting with kids

you will be more than suprised how well they adapt , give them a full meal before and we can guarantee they will not still feel hungry
Nah seriously , smell of baby is great so use the cloth advice and with any dog around children exercise caution and supervision but they must interact

Get them used to baby things like clothes, blankets, toys the can see but not touch. Have a Moses basket in ur lounge, and introduce them to the pram/stroller before u bring bubba home.

Staffys adore children Smile they have a great connection with kids, my 2 will let my kids practically lay on top of them !

Id be more worried about my cat curling up in my baby's cot than of a staffy tbh.
