Feeding times - picky eater.
Ok,so Debo plays again with his food. He chooses when to eat it,we not being easy on him and at thd moment he has first meal at 11,when he doesn't finish it we remove it. Then last meal 8pm. He eats that one ok. He is hungry he always waits at the kitchen at his feeding time. So I was thinking to put his daily amount ( 300g) in his bowl in one go and leave it to him when he wants to eat it. I still control how much he eats. What do you think?

I've never allowed 'grazing', I think it encourages pickiness. Also, you're never sure that your dog hasn't just eaten when you take him out for exercise which is potentially dangerous.

Thanks Caryll, forgot about that. I had this issue before and we gave up,changed his food and ended up with sick dog for over 3 weeks. We got back to his old food and the sickness was gone. He was eating fine for a while and he's trying it again . But this time will be strong. The plan was if he's fussy again to missed one meal?

I give Logan his food and once he stops eating no matter how much it is I take the bowl away. He is very picky with his eating. But he has learnt now to eat as much as he can or it'll be taken away!
