Re: feeding times
Mia is on twice a day at 6 months old and will probably keep her on twice a day for a while as long as she is ok with that. I think that two smaller meals a day is better for the digestion than one large meal but that is my personal opinion and depends on the individual dog

Re: feeding times
I feed twice a day and I'll probably stick to that for all of Logan's life. He's a fussy eater and if he was to get one big meal he'd probably not eat any of it at all, whereas he manages well with two smaller meals.

Re: feeding times
I used to go down to one a day from age of about a year, but since Dempsey developed bloat I will always feed twice a day from 6 months onwards.

Sierra is 5 months and going down to 2 feeds next week and then will go down to 1 feed at about 10 months or so!

Bailey was a fussy eater. I'd literally have to cut a chicken/duck wing into bite size pieces, anything that he couldn't just crunch and swallow he wouldn't eat it. Changing to 1 feed a day has worked wonders and he clears his bowl 90% of the time!

Re: feeding times
It depends what way your dog eats. Lexi gets once a day but she has two bowls and one gets wet food which she eats immediately and the other gets her kibble which she munched all through the day. If she ate it all in one go she would probably bloat, but in 9 years shes ate this way so i don't think shes going to change her eating habits over night!
