Advice please
So Bruno is 16 weeks now an has settled in really well the only thing im worried about is sometimes when he is playing with our chocolate lab he bites an pulls at his face/neck and also sometimes his willy, i know he is just playing and the majority of the time Jake will sort him out himself but sometimes Bruno takes no notice and is just constantly going at Jake usually he is that excited he takes no notice when we tell him now when we take him for a timeout he calmdls down but then as soon as he see's jake again he just goes straight back into the excitement frenzy an starts again, the problem is he's making jake sore.
Although this does not happen all the time he will just settle down an stretch out next to jake at times, also we haven't noticed him doing this with any other dogs?
I know he's a puppy an is just playing an it is defo noticeably worse when jake is in a playfull mood and is playing back but like i said he's pulled an bitten at jakes willy so much its all red an looks sore an its just not fair on him. Any advice would be appreciated thanks

Re: Advice please
As you say he is just a puppy and they do play rough, very rough at times They should always be supervised when together and if it looks like Bruno is getting too much for Jake then seperate them.. Although a pup he still needs to learn there are boundaries, and if Jake is being hurt then thats when you will need to stop play until he calms down

Re: Advice please
Just make sure to supervise them when they play. Bruno is still learning bite inhibition and what is or isn't acceptable behaviour. You are on the right track with seperating them when it gets out of hand. Here is a link on body language you may find usefull

Re: Advice please
Agree with those above, if it looks like he is getting a bit OTT separate them for a while, until all is calm again.

Re: Advice please
Can't add more but to say when you let them back together after they have calmed down if your pup is going crazy again remove him again until he learns that he will only stay with your lab if he is calm.
