Dermacton Spray and Viacutan Plus...
Remember i recently posted that Sky was suffering from some fur loss on her back... Well she was tested for mites and they all came back clear and was told it could be an allergy to something or dust mites ( wer'e having work done on our walls i.e old plaster taken of expossin new bricks with dust & mold on them) and it would possibly cost me a small fortune to have allergy tests and blood tests to find out what is causing her fur loss Typical !!!
Well approx 3 wks ago (after doing alot of googling & research) i started using a product called 'Dermacton Spray' which i apply 2 or 3 times a day as its an anti-fungal & anti-bacterial spray but i also gently wipe her back down with a warm soft damp cloth every day but i also recently started giving her a supplement which has been highly recommended by several friends who have dogs .. called 'Viacutan Plus' and she has 3 of them a day ..
Well judge for yourself ... Here is her back before using the Dermacton Spray & Viacutan Plus..
An her is her back approx 3 wks after starting the spray and 2 wks after starting the supplement..
I also don't hoover or do any dusting around the house whilst she's in the house with me .. She is fed on Lily's Kitchen Grain Free dog food which gets devoured everytime ...

Oh i knew someone would ask whats in them but am useless at adding links to products so if i give you the website to the spray Caryll you can check it out yourself ... www.petnat.com an its the Dermacton Spray and the Viacutan Plus is high in GLA with natural antioxidants and is used alot by vets but strangely my vet failed to tell me about this but made sure they told me about the very expensive allergy & blood tests....
I am chuffed at how quickly her skin & coat has improved ..

Yeh it could also save people a fortune as my vets were quoting me between £300-£500 for everything from skin scrapings, bloods, skin biopsys, specialist foods !!!!!
I decided to do me own research and thank god i did as i know iv'e saved myself a fortune as the spray is approx £15 and it lasts a while and the Viacutan Plus is £8 for 40 tabs ...
Fingers xd other owners have as much success as me & Sky have had ...

Hi Sue, I have every faith in the Viacutan plus but I use the oil in the pump spray. I am so glad it is working it certainly made Vinnies coat 100% better and his coat now is amazing. I have been wondering how you were getting on with it, cant believe your vet never suggested it as it was my vet who put me on to it. Then again they are all different. Hope it continues to improve.

Hiya inez... Yeh the Viacutan Plus seems to be working really well along with the Dermacton Spray ... her coat is alot softer and people don't stare at her back anymore wondering why her fur is thinning out !! ...
Do you just use the pump spray over Vinnies food and if so how many pumps do you use per day.. Sky is on the tablet form and is on 3 a day as it says 1 to 2 tabs per 10kg and she weighs 19kg but am so glad i started her on them ..
Like you say all vets are different but some seem abit more money hungry than others ... Am just glad iv avoided a large vet bill x

Hi sue, yes I just use the pump spray on Vinnies food 2 squirts at teatime, but if he starts to dry out a bit I increase it to 4 squirts for a week or so. Although this doesnt happen too often now. I also use 2 squirts of VetVits glossy coat omega on his biscuits in the mornings, so this may have a bearing aswell on his coat. xhollymolly wrote:inez maria wrote:Hi Sue, I have every faith in the Viacutan plus but I use the oil in the pump spray.
