Bruno's gums are bleeding a little and half a tooth has come out, the root is still attached to his gum, looks like some are comming out on the other side also as there is blood around the teeth, is he teething? He's charging around like a nut so could he be in pain?

Certainly sounds like it Smile

Just keep an eye for the half tooth, the root should fall out naturally. Frozen carrots are good thing for them to chew Smile

Or anything they chew, rope toy or kong Xx

Phew it's worrying.

As I am not 100% of his age, do you know what age they normally start teething?

Don't worry. Rogers mouth looks a mess at the moment, so you're not alone xD He's missing one canine which has left a big red hole, and he's got two rows of incisors at the moment...he's like an alien!!

I'm sure they'll soon both have lovely new smiles Big Grin

Ah so he's at that age, I know toothache can make you crazy so he must be in some discomfort, he's got the vets tomorrow for worming and de-fleaing, I will get the nurse to have a look I think.

Ahh it's lovely when those evil puppy fangs fall out Big Grin As Janey said said carrots are great and once they start to fall out they can all come out quite quickly.. Steff lost all of hers in a matter of a week and was very gummy for a while Laughing

Laughing This reminded me of my baby girl showing her daddy her loose teeth the other day after she had shown me. He said " That's cool!" she got all distressed and said " Now I can't eat carrots daddy!" He told her that now is the BEST time to eat carrots lol she lost 2 teeth already since then. ( she's not a puppy I know ) But maybe it's not all that different ?

The only difference is I guess is human baby's have a different language and animals deal with pain better than humans but I believe they are both equally hard work and expensive.

He def sounds like teething. Logan broke a tooth a few weeks before he started. He lost most of his front teeth in a very short time. The very front two grew back first and they were so big for his wee face. He looked like a rabbit haha Laughing

LOL so there is a chance my boy could end up resembling a rabbit, I will still love him.

Poor lil man must be confused to why his mouth feels sore but we forget so I am sure dogs do to.

We took Honey for a play date with a friend who has a 1 year old female staffy. The two of them ran around like crazy things, rolling, tumbling and play biting. When I looked down there was a tooth. I looked in Honey's mouth and sure enough it was one of hers. She has been really mouthy lately not to us but the couch, toys, wood etc. We have been freezing cucumber, courgette, carrot and making her chicken ice blocks which seem to help! My vet said if she is really uncomfortable you could use bongella which helps human babies teeth??? Good luck- I hear you as we are going through this as well.

Katy has only lost one front tooth so far but she's now cutting her big girl back teeth. Seems a bit uncomfortable, bleeding a bit & seems to be upsetting her tummy as well. She is also a bit rosie round her muzzle, bit like kids get rosie cheeks Smile I give her ice cubes to chew on which seem to help.

I have bonjelo for human adults, I don't want to use human products in him so I may get some doggie stuff they have at pets at home.

I will get some carrots tomorrow and do some ice cubes, I have been freezing his Kong with peanut butter for now.
