Eh? This morning one in Russia is unrelated to the one this evening that's the closest one's come to Earth. You can watch it here: http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2013/02/watch-2012-da14-flyby-live/ and you'll still be able to see it if you have binoculaurs. Think it's from 7pm and onwards.
The one in Russia is scary though, saw videos of it and people just carried on walking, didn't even look up reminded me of Deep Impact.

I was talking about the meteor coming close to Earth. But yeah, also saw the videos of the meteor explosion over Russia. I'd have been terrified! Apparently, several people were injured by broken glass because of it. Yikes!

Re: Meteor strike
I think it was supposed to be visible at about 6 in the evening, wasn't it? Or have I got it mixed up?

Re: Meteor strike
I'm sure I read it was 7pm onwards until like 10pm or something. Could be wrong though, all the times confused me

Re: Meteor strike
Drat! I'm all snuggled up in comfy layers of blankets and pyjamas now. Too late to go outside to look for big floaty rocks.
