Hunger strike
Really odd weekend as far as Flo is concerned. As some of you know she has Bloodhound cousins in the new forest and we spent the night there this weekend, now her cousins have been here and she has spent 2 weeks living with them when we were away in the states 3 years ago and all was fine, she has been the most chilled girl and not fretted at all until yesterday.
Now, do Staffies have a long memory? But... We turned up at the in laws and Flo immediately turned her nose up at her dinner (the single most important event in her day). We tried to tempt her with a few treats but nope not having that. Breakfast was ignored and even after returning from a family trip to see an elderly relative, having left her with the hounds for a couple of hours and her being extatic to see us, still wouldn't eat!!!
We travelled back home and she did her usual checking out no one had been in her bed etc when we got in and was then more than ready for her dinner, in fact she was dancing for it in the way we all know Staffies do. I can only think that she thought we were going to leave her there again and went on hunger strike
Suffice to say, all is now well in her world

Gosh she is SO clever isn't she ! I would dead set bet that's what it was, she thought you were going to leave her. Funny aren't they. Bless her. Now get offline and get her some treats dammit !!!

Re: Hunger strike
Have you told Flo that she is actually a dog? I'm sure she will disagree
