RAW Feeding and licking
Logan is a licky puppy. A very licky puppy. Now he has had a few raw things to munch on, my O/H has asked is it safe for Logan to lick us after he's had his bones/meat etc.?
I think that the enzymes in his saliva will break down any potential bad thingys and it will be ok for him to lick us when he is finished. (i mean lick hands and arms, maybe feet if we have no socks on!)
Just wondering what anyone else does.

Re: RAW Feeding and licking
It no worse than when they are fed commercial foods. Dogs have more bacteria on their teeth when fed commercial foods. So when a dog licks you it contains bacteria no matter what they are fed.

Eh, Molly licks me all the time, she eats raw, and we've had no problems.
