I think it needs time since you only got the staff a month ago. Is the staff a male or female neutered or not as this can make a difference.

Re: help needed with bullying please
If she's only there a month she is most likely just taking time to adjust. The excitement and confusion of being in a new home takes a while for some dogs to take in. Albeit, Staffords play rough in general. It can be worked with though so just monitor the play and if you feel it needs stopped don't be afraid to step in.

Stop it when she goes for the little one. My 2 fight all the time, it's the way Staffs play. She needs to know she can't do this to the little one. I taught mine the 'leave it' command. Sometimes they get frisky with the cats, they only want to play with the cats but normally end up scratched!

thank u for ur help, yes we av been intervening and stopping it, wot we do is tell her NO! in a very sharp voice, she does stop wen u tell her 2 but its mainly wiv my hubby, she sees him as the leader of the pack, im quite stern wiv her so she nos she cant bully me but she still trys by mouthing me a lil bit, but 2 b honest i think shes doing great as shes a rescue and cum in2 a family with 2 other dogs and 2 cats, so a lot 2 take in for her, just wanted 2 nip it in the bud or if theres sumthin i shud b doing that im not 2 stop her bullying. many thanks
