play fighting Empty play fighting

if my dogs are play fighting sometimes the younger dog bites his neck and hangs onit should i split it up everytime i see it and say no .. or shall i leave um to it till she learns her lesson i dont want my older dog flipping out tho??

I would split it up personally. Younger dogs can be a bit much after a while and don't know their boundaries. But Staffords do play rough in all fairness.

our 2 play well rough sometimes dragging each other by the cheeks round the room. I wouldnt worry too much unless the younger dog gets too much Smile

sounds like very normal play to me, just supervise them and split them up if one seems like they have had enough

she gets abit viscous her lips curl up sometimes but ok i guess its normall shes new and i aint used to seeing my older dog play fighting ruff lol

lip curling during play is very normal but when it goes to far and they are warning is very different.

my two constantly have their teeth and growl at each other but it's in play

Sounds like normal play to me but if in doubt break it up. They tend to play on the rough side so here is a link on body language that should help out

If i was you i would split them up and let them know not to do it, because if you leave them alone anytime and they have a set to you could end up with a big vets bill

By all means step in and separate them if it looks like it's getting out of hand. The body language link above from JStaff will give you all the signs to watch for.
