To spay, or not to spay?....Yet
Ok, so as most of you know Nylah is 3 months, turning 4 months Feb. 17. Now, when we adopted her we were told that we had to spay her by Jan. 13th. Because we had to deworm her && treat her for kennel cough && have her puppy shots, spaying is taking a little longer. Now, my question/concern is, in your opinions, is she too young to get spayed and should we wait? or should we go ahead && spay her? O.o

Re: To spay, or not to spay?....Yet
I think the general preference is to spay after their first season (though I might be wrong), but if she's a rescue, I think it's part of their agreement that they get neutered as soon as possible, or by a specific date or something. So if you're allowed to wait, then you can if you want, but if it's what you were told to do, I think you'll have to.

As Tara says, you may not have the option.
If you do, though, I'd wait until after her first season.
