Re: My poor pooch :(
and so it begins
your pup will try everything to keep you near, and the more you react to it the worse it will get. you need to set your stall out and ignore it, as harsh as it sounds. the more your pup gets used to the fact you wont always be there, the better she will be at a later stage

Re: My poor pooch :(
It's seperation anxiety. She is crying to get you to come back. If you do come back it will teach her that crying works. Sounds cruel but it's something we all had to go through

Ignore it. It's all new to her, being on her own even for a short amount of time. Don't make a fuss of her when you're leaving for a moment, you want her to realise it's normal and that you're going to come back. And whatever you do, DON'T give her any attention when she's crying (unless she's needing the toilet). That just makes them think crying will make you come to her, and it never stops (proof is in the fact that Loki is almost 9 months old and has only recently started to shush ).

it does tug on the old heart strings but you must ignore it like others have said. You will make it worse if you go back. Might be better if you put her in a covered cage/crate at night this will make her feel more secure and she may settle better
