Random vomiting..
I'm starting to get a little concerned about Biscuit and was wondering if anybody else has ever had this problem.. I adopted Biscuit almost a year ago now, and have never had any digestive complaints from her, and she has always been fed the same diet. Yet the past few months she has been having random vomiting spells? It's always just phlegm/bile and small amounts, and once she's vomited she goes about her day as usual and doesn't seem to be poorly or at all subdued in herself. It just seems to be happening more often than usual.. I'm not talking daily, probably 5-6 times in the last 6 weeks and mostly early in the morning or overnight, though it has happened once or twice in the afternoon. She's always fed at least an hour after exercise and isn't fed anything other than her staple diet and natural treats. Any ideas what this could be? Mentioned it to my vet and was just told to monitor it..

Re: Random vomiting..
sometimes they can choke on phlegm at the back of the throat vomiting it up may be a way of getting rid of it. Dylan snorts like a little piggy in the mornings then seems to choke its just his way of getting rid of a snotty nose etc i think. He doesnt do it every day though. Like the vet said keep an eye on it

Re: Random vomiting..
It could be that she's eaten something which has irritated the lining of her digestive system. I think the best thing to do would be to keep and eye on her and look out for any signs of change - for better or worse.

We had a similar thing with Rocky a while ago. We kept an eye on him and noticed that it happened when he got too warm cuddled up to us on the bed or when he had eaten something he shouldn't, ie: poo.
