Good idea
Just saw an ad on a site saying basically
"i have kids and we love having a dog around but dont feel ready to take the plunge and commit to our own dog full time, so we offer short pet sitting services. all dogs walked twice a day or more and kept in the house"
I thought that was a really good, responsible thing to be doing

sound like they are very sensible a good way of getting a dog without actually getting a dog

So the stigma about Staffs is wrong because it's about the owner, not the breed, but with other dogs it's about the breed?
Anyway, that's a responsible thing to do, being around dogs but not having the full-time responsibility of looking after your own. Cool good on them.

Re: Good idea
No it isnt about breed, i know and love JRT, they are just usually a farm dog or an older persons dogs, and they can be very snappy because they are fussy like farmers and old people. They get very attached to their owners and have what i call "small dogs dont need training" owners

Re: Good idea
I think terriers in general are fiesty little dogs. Because people assume small dogs don't need training, JRTs aren't always taught not to snap or yip at people, so we assume that they're evil. Personally, I love them! Not sure that I'd get one, but that's due to size preference.
