Record breaking late night walk.
Just took Dempsey for his late walk. We're normally gone for about 20 minutes/half an hour.
Well, tonight he slipped & slided to the pavement, peed & pooped & then headed back very forcefully! Less than 10 minutes!

Re: Record breaking late night walk.
The morning walks for Dempsey are a must - from about 7am he's raring to go! The afternoon ones depend on the weather & how comfortable he is when I tell him walkies, but the late one he doesn't like much at all!
How are Moo's joints holding up in this weather?

Oh, yes, I remember!
The black is just bruising - it'll go. The nail will grow back properly, it'll just take a couple of weeks or so. If she's ok walking on it & you can touch it then it's healing already.
Poor you, you've both been through it a bit, haven't you? ><

Dempsey didn't want to go out, eh? Loki's always wanting to go out...used to hate the cold but now he loves it and I'm the one hating it because he'll be dragging me on the ice

Alas Solly likes to go out in all weathers, he is rather apprehensive when it rains, but then its head down and off we go.

Re: Record breaking late night walk.
Pixee loves the walks in the snow, however she is missing her night walk before bed, hubby wont let us go on our own, which is fair enough. He has a cold and has been over working, but still she gets 2 long walks in the day at the moment. roll on the light nights, back to a 3rd walk. Oh rain, well she refuses to walk in rain bless her.

Ah bless dempsey but i don,t blame him the ice has been lethal i am so wary as often have three staffies too walk scared they will pull me over in!!
My two are very selective they did love the snow but Skye who is 7 now and tears around like a loon, did seem too feel the cold this year and definitely didn,t want too stay out too long, Ava loved the snow its her first snowfall so it was all great fun x

Oh I can't wait for light evening again.
Take Blue after work every day and all I can ever see is pitch black and flashing dog collars everywhere.
