Late Night Walks
Am I the only one stupid enough to take their dog out last thing?
I always take Dempsey out at about 11pm, sometimes later depending on what I'm doing & what day it is.

uh, I'm asleep by then. I get mine out between 8-9. I just can't stay awake that late. I'm lame.

Re: Late Night Walks
It's just a routine I got into when Dempsey was having problems with his tummy. I used to take him out late so I didn't have to wake up to diarrohea in the morning!

Re: Late Night Walks
i've ranted on here about taking marley out around 12-1 am and having DRUGGIES ASKING ME IF I COULD GO SCORE FOR THEM i don't live there now and we also have a garden that no longer requires me to mingle with night life. but he well supervised what ever he does as he has all the sense of a new born and we are growing veg on a third of it.

Re: Late Night Walks
We just let Rocky out for a wee late at night, far too risky around here to go for a walk at that time. It's bad enough during the day.

Re: Late Night Walks
I'm completely silly at times and have been out late around different dark area's - try not to make a regular thing of it though - and rarely walk the exact same route daily

Re: Late Night Walks
As Jenny (daughter) walks Tilly when I'm not home we settled her into a routine where she goes out between 6 and 8 on a morning then after schoolish on an afternoon , and the rest of the time she does the garden. Sometimes she gets extras through the day and weekends but that's her routine. By 7 she's normally warming our bed up

Re: Late Night Walks
occasionally i walk mia late at night, only 10:30-11pm.
Its dead quiet where I am, but one time this old transit went past and seemed to be going a bit slow, I was terriffied they wanted to steal her so I ran all the way home!!!
Since then if we really have to then I walk her but stay really close to my house!

Re: Late Night Walks
Most of Buster's walks are at "unsocaible" hours - it is alot easier taking him for long walks without the kids so I have to wait for OH to be in to look after them. I do occasionally walk him at 11 30, 12 ish, although not very often.

Re: Late Night Walks
At night I just take them a walk around the block. I live in the town centre so there's a lot of people coming and going from pubs an clubs as well as all the usual idiots hanging around.
