Does anyone use a backpack with their dog? I was thinking about getting Lily an Ezydog one so she can carry the water and anything else we need on a long hike?

Was thinking about it last year for Tilly but some of them would drown her , now Tommy is going to be a big boy might just make him carry everything for him and his sister just to make up for the grief he gives her , shouldn't really contemplate it until the dog is 18 months old though

The Ezydog ones look pretty good value , think by your profile pic Jason looks like an Ezydog collar on Ramsey (don't know about you Claire) so the quality is good and about 1/2 the price of some of the other stuff knocking around

Yeah they have their pink camo ezydog collars in the pic. Lily is 2 now so she is old enough for a backpack. She is so fat she needs ezydog large in collar and harness. I thought it might help her to lose weight if she had the backpack on I also have a code for getting it half price from the website Big Grin

I'm a huge fan of backpacks as long as the dog is 18 months of age and the weight is built up slowly. Suki loves hers.

I am def gonna get one for Logan when he is old enough. I think they are great. I think I read somewhere 10% of the dog's weight is enough to work up towards. Just gotta slowly work up towards it.
