smell down below!
Hi everyone, my 4 months old pup has quite a strong below coming for her vagina area, is this normal?

It maybe her anal glands but you will need to ask your vet really.

Re: smell down below!
Could be an infection of some sort. Is she eating, drinking and going to the bathroom normally?

I can only say with my girl she doesn't smell at all , apart from those staffy bottom burps and I would soon know as she often sleeps in our bed , preferred head down bum in yer face so I think we would notice Definitely a trip to the vets in order to get her checked out, let us know how you get on please

Yeah she's eating and peeing fine, everything is nomal with her. Doesn't smell this morning, I could smell it as soon as she walked in to the same room as me. Will ring the vet. Thanks

Re: smell down below!
It could be one of several things. One is a UTI, another is the onset of a season, although she's a little young for that, yet.
Pyometra can cause a smell, but again, she's a bit too young for that.
I'd have a word with the vet, because if it's a UTI it's easily treated.
