Got a lovely response from a couple we meet regularly on our walks. They are part of our friendly crowd who give each other's dogs treats and affection. The chap said that Bacchus totally dispels the staffie myths.
Although Bacchus is only 6 months and very boisterous around people and dogs, this couple love his friendly nature. Hope he continues this way.
BTW when my wife takes him out she is constantly surprised by the number of people who know him by name.
Just hope it's for the right reasons.

yay, well done bacchus. Tash is the same, everybody near us loves her and have known her since her first walk and love seeing her grow up

Great news! Roxy is the same in our area - one of our neighbours who's staffie was PTS last year came running up to us yesterday with a bone for Roxy he's kept in the freezer for her since Christmas!

Yeah same with toby. Our Maine walk is the local woods and every dog and owner loves toby. He plays with all dogs from rottweilers to small Maltese dogs. Hes 5 months now. Im hoping when his hormones start changing he doesn't become boisterous.
