Hes all tired out now, 2 weeks till his second injection and his microchip then he will be able to walk a week later....great.

Re: Injection.
Walking and the thought of parvovirus and distemper made me make an appointment with the PDSA pretty much straight away, no animal should suffer from them, can't wait to walk him.

Re: Injection.
I must admit, I don't take chances, either! I've always waited until at least the last jab, and usually for the whole period.

Re: Injection.
Honey has had her second vaccination and we are awaiting her third. Hopefully we can get it done at 14 weeks as I return to work the next Monday and she is going to Puppy Day care. We start puppy preschool tonight and am a wee bit excited and nervous. Hope she behaves herself as it starts just as her "witching hour" begins. Ha ha
We walked Honey around the garden to get her used to her lead and it has been working. That way we knew she was safe and got her into a routine. Good luck everyone!

Gotta agree with the vet. My cousin's Labrador apprantly hated the jabs and when he got microchipped.
When I took Zeus to get them all done, he didn't even realise what was going on, he didn't even flinch!

Re: Injection.
I heard staffies have a high tolerance to pain so maybe that is why he never felt his first jab!
He only has two injections altogether, some have 3 then?

Re: Injection.
Loki was the same, he was so excited at the receptionist and vet making a huge fuss of him that he literally didn't even notice...and then he got a treat after it and his little face, he was like "Oh food, I didn't even do anything" . You'll be able to take him out not too long now then

Re: Injection.
In the UK do you only need two needles? We need three - maybe it is due to the climate? As another person in a warmer environment needs three?
