Yes, a good film. For a change, it was actually better than the book.

The scenes of the horse running loose in the trenches were brilliant - you'd never guess that it was computer generated.

Yeah I thought exactly the same .. there was just one little bit if I remember correctly that you could tell was CGI'd .. but still very impressive Smile

I watched it at xmas (bought it for Jen on dvd) good movie Smile bit unrealistic how they could accidentally find each other in the end but thats movies for you Smile

Well, it was based off a children's novel, so the ending was probably designed to make the kids happy. Tongues

I know my daughter read all the Michael Morpurgo books, but wasn't it supposed to be based on some actual events too or was that just the fact of how the animals were handled through the war and acquired etc
