Extra Skin
Well the last few weeks now I'v had to clean Blondy's genitals, she has to much skin around there and dirt and muck gets stuck between the skin, great area for things to grow and get infected, i'v been cleaning it atleast once a day and luckily she is really tolerant of me doing it, Just hope it all tightens once she is grown up.
Anyone else's pup has this kind of problem?

Sorry ive never seen it is staffords but bulldogs and mastiffs can be affected by this. Can you get some kind of antibacterial powder or cream to apply?

Re: Extra Skin
She may grow out of it (or into it!) or you may find that it will never change. It's often the case when a bitc.h is spayed early (I'm not starting a pro's & con's argument!) and you may need to keep on with the cleaning.

Re: Extra Skin
She does have alot of lose skin all over really especially on her head if i move the skin towards her eyes from the back of her head she look like a shar pei, I do plan on getting the antibacteria cream. She has not been spayed Caryll.

Oh, right, sorry I thought she had been. In that case, I'm sure she'll grow into her skin in time!

Re: Extra Skin
Nah she will be when she is six months which is in 19 days, so nice to know when her birthday is unlike Taz and Cassie where Cassie is supposed to be a month younger which is impossible so i have go by Taz and Cassie birthday and meet somewhere in the middle. Anyways i'm sure she will grow out of it and i hope she does last thing she need to be ill again with another infection.

Re: Extra Skin
Yes, sorry, I forgot that Cassie had her season recently, didn't she?
I wouldn't have thought there'd be a problem, but if you have any doubts just mention it to your vet when you take her in for spaying.

Yeah Cassie just had her season she's finished now though about 4 days ago and she aint pregnant so YAY I think it really helped her though in being able to still mate with Taz cause she wasn't so bad in the frustrated part as most bitc*'s are I know my whippet used to clear 6 foot walls to go and get laid Anyways i will mention it to my vet about Blondy's extra skin, i doubt there will any long term treatment though its just a wait and see i guess.
